I found many faces hidden in everyday things. I also found things that either resemble a face or is a face and added googly eyes to them
For my alphabet I chose to make a messy collage as all my letters look very different and it reminded me of garbage. I had some creative pictures but most of them are just the letters I found but in a cool font.
I tried to do something a little different in my collage project. Instead of a landscape I chose to use a picture of myself. It looked pretty shitty when the background was left alone, so i removed the background and added a starry night to add to the creepy vibe of this picture.
The Light modulation project taught me a lot about perspective and how lighting only matters in perspective to the camera. to combat this I had Emily hold the light while I moved the camera to the correct perspective. My pictures came out surprisingly abstract even though I used symmetry when cutting and folding my paper. I think that I should of used more spikes as its the most fine/ detailed technique in shadow modulation, it also just looks really cool to me.
For my passion and animation unit I honestly had trouble finding a passion, it wasn't until Colin presented that I was actually intrigued by animation. I decided to collaborate with Colin to help increase my knowledge and ability at Blender animations. First we attempted to create an animation using a clash of clans wizard, we got our template for the wizard on Thingiverse, an online website that allows you to share and use templates for animation. We added bones to the wizard and attempted to create my first animation. The only problem was that the template was too detailed and had trouble connecting to the bones. In the end it did not work out so we used a different template with less detail and it worked perfect. With collins help I was able to quickly learn the basics of animation and it is a skill I hope to practice and get better at in the future.
I used Blender and Thingiverse to get a template of Kim Jung un, I played around with some controls and thought it was pretty hysterical tbh.
